How's the first impression for public transportation in Vancouver?


When we first arrive in other city, sometimes we confused for some differences from our hometown.
Today Vancitytips would like to let you know the foreigner's first impression for public transportation in Vancouver. Since our team member are from all different countries, we shared each of first impression for public transportation in Vancouver and differences from their home town. 
Let's talk about some interesting findings. 


In Vancouver, there is the Skytrain system and it's really convenient and fast. In addition, the bus system is good, although some areas are limited in number of buses with 30 minute waits.

For Brazilian, there are not many lines or trains in Brazil, stations are commonly crowded and efficiency is not usually part of the process. It is often difficult to know when will the bus/train arrive.

For Ukrainian, Vancouver would be a much safer place for transportation. Bus drivers in Ukraine would smoke a cigarette holding it in their mouth, hold coffee in their left hand, while be advising passengers, collect transit fees off them AND driving at the same time with their right hand.

In England, nothing too special for public transportation and pretty easy to get around. If visitors are in London, it’s easier if you walk everywhere and enjoy the view (assuming it’s not raining)

In South Korea, The public transportation is well organized and the price for transportation is quite cheap and people can transfer between subway and bus without double charge. Moreover, since the fee for car parking is expensive, to use public transportation is much cheaper.

In China, Chinese high-speed rail is very convenient and efficient. Most people will chose high-speed rail to go to the destination and the price is low.
